UBCO’s Asian Student Association (ASA) teamed up with a number of other clubs on campus to host their annual Halloween Haunted House on October 26, 2019.

The event took place from 6:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. and the cost of entry for the event was $5 for members, $8 for early-bird tickets and $10 at the door. The Haunted House was set up throughout a series of classrooms in the Arts Building, each room having its own theme and scary surprises.

The event was a testament to the club’s organization and enthusiasm for the UBCO Community. The makeup, costumes and props were all very well done, and the actors did a great job of engaging with participants.

UBCO ASA has been around for more than 10 years with the goal to promote Asian Culture on campus. UBCO ASA President, Gordon Lian, mentioned that “of course, during the scares, we added flavours of our culture to the mix.”

This event was the perfect way to kick off Halloween festivities for UBCO ASA members, students, and the rest of the Okanagan community. More pictures from the event can be found on Instagram or Facebook @ubcoasa.
