Only a 15 minute drive from the UBCO campus, the Mission Creek Bike Skills Park re-opened on July 23, 2019. The skills park is located at 1960 Hollywood road and features 3 jump lines, each with a different level of difficulty.

The $60,000 worth of renovations to the park was much needed, making the park a great place for intermediate to expert level riders to hone their skills on the newly formed jump lines. Since there is a limited time frame left before the season is over, it is best to get out to the jumps as soon as possible.

The jumps are very accessible and accompanied by a functional parking lot, making it easy to get access to the jump lines in a matter of seconds.

For anyone new to biking or to Kelowna, the city offers an abundance of beautiful, difficult and easy trails in the area, from the Knox Mountain black diamond run, to an easy rip on the rail trail. You can visit Trailforks to find some trails near you, and get out on the bike before ski season begins.

Don’t forget your helmet!
