The registration for the Co-Ed Pacific Adult Spring Soccer/Hockey League (PASL and PAHL) will open on March 1, 2019.

The Co-Ed PASL and PAHL were formed in 2004 and are governed by RG Sports & Entertainment. The leagues are hosted in the Capital News Centre, located on 4105 Gordon Drive.

There are currently more than 80 teams participating in the Pacific Adult Indoor Soccer and Hockey leagues, which are the largest indoor programs in the interior of British Columbia.

Spring Co-ed PASL and PAHL are not competitive leagues. So they are a perfect opportunity for those who prefer to play sports for recreational purposes.

Currently, the winter leagues are operating, with the incoming playoffs in each division kicking off on March. The playoff schedules can be found on the main website of PAHL and PASL.

According the league coordinator, Larry Lenarduzzi, the majority of the players usually sign up in teams; however, the leagues occasionally get single players emailing for an opportunity to participate.

“We put on our ‘Free Agent’ list and the team reps grab as they need them,” said Lenarduzzi. “If we do get enough FA players, we create our own teams.”

For students who would like to participate in some team sports, the registration for recreational sports will be opened online in March on the main web page of Capital News Centre.
